When we saw the location on a main road we were a little concerned but the room was at the rear of the house overlooking the garden and very quiet so we had an excellent night's sleep. The room was clean and welcome was friendly, the owner offered without prompting to store our motorbike in family garage. The City Centre was a pleasant 20 minute walk away. Would definitely stay again if in the area. Read less

The close proximity to the Life Centre meant we could walk there rather than having to take our car and it was only a short stroll to find food in the evening. Also we were given a very warm welcome.

The room was warm and welcoming with a very comfortable bed,it had all the tea and coffee making facilities and made the best of the space with an en-suite in a wardrobe,very novel.

The view from the window over the valley was surprising and rather nice.
Dislikes:
Did not like a partitioned off bathroom from bedroom - it lacked privacy and was noisy. The double glazing was not effective against wind.

Thanks for comments, however, would like to add that this is only time these comments have been made, as majority of people like design of this room & guest was also shown separate toilet. Lovely comments about view from window. View has been commented on with many guests. We would just like to add that vent on window had been left open & this would cause noise of wind. If closed it 's a very quiet room. Apologies for not shutting vent.Seems son liked his en suite with spa bath & seperat shower
